3rd Asian Taekwon-do championships 9-14 November 2006 New Delhi-India

The 3rd senior & junior Asian tae kwon-do championship was successfully held in talkatora indoor stadium, New Delhi, India from 9 – 14 November 2006.Over 300 competitors and officials from 20 countries participated in this championship.
Tae kwon-do ITF in Asia developing day by day under presidency of Prof. Chung Ung ITF President and IOC Member and ATF.

3rd Asian Tae kwon-Do Federation Congress

3rd Asian Tae kwon-do congress was held on November 10th 2006 at 16:00 – 18:00 hours at conference hall at the venue. In New Delhi the capital city of India with the attendance of ITF president and IOC Member Prof. Chang Ung, ATF President Hwang Pong Yong ATF Vice president Master Kim Ung Choi, and 25 representatives from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Japan, Korero in Japan, DPR Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, south Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, UAE, Ethiopia, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, China, Singapore.
At the congress he activities of ITF President and development of ITF with WTF and IOC was reported by the Prof. Chong Ung President of ITF & IOC Member as well as ATF President reported all ITF activities and development and proposed issues concerned with the preparation of 4th Asian Championships which will be held in Kazakhstan were discussed

4th Asian Taekwon-do championships 4-6 April 2008 Almaty- Kazakhstan

The 4th Asian Taekwon-do Championships was held
From 2nd to 6th April 2008 at the dostyk, stadium Almaty, Kazakhstan
17 Asian countries DPR Korea, South Korea, Korea in Japan, Japan, Cambodia, Mongolia, China, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgizstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Malaysia and Nepal.
Afghanistan ITF Delegation including 5 officials
1- Mr. Hed Mohammad Shirzai President (VIP)
2- Mr. Salih Mohammad Jawaheri Team Manager and Coach
3- Mr. Abdul Latif Yari, Umpire and Coach
4- Mr. Mohammad Maruf Sharifzada, Umpire
5- Mr. Abdul Saboor Karimi, Treasurer and Coach
4 competitors were participated at the mentioned memorable championships.
Two Competitors in junior
Mr. Noor Mohammad Shirzai got bronze medal in sparring section 54kg 3rd position
Mr. Abdul Wahid Salehzada got bronze medal in Pattern section 3rd position
Two Competitors in Senior
Mr. Mohammad Masoud Sharifzada got bronze medal in sparring section 74kg 3rd position

4th Asian ITF TKD Congress
At the congress very important issues was discussed for the more development of the ITF in the region,
