1st All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
21st March 2001, Aga khan Gymkhana Karachi-Pakistan

It is the beginning of the AANTA national championships.
Due to civil war in Afghanistan it took place in Karachi city at Aga khan gymkhana at karachi Pakistan on 21st March 2001 there were four regional representations got together here to see who would be the best of this event,
It was divided in only two categories sparring and pattern
It was an individual and team championships.
The best representations were Karachi and Pindi
For one day, more then 100 immigrated afghan people were surprised because of the high level national championships reached on this first national competition and a promising future started for national championships.

2nd All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
16th May 2002, Aga khan Gymkhana Karachi-Pakistan

It took place in Karachi city of Pakistan at Aga khan Gymkhana from 15th -16th May 2002.

3rd All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
24th November 2003, Aga Khan Gymkhana Karachi-Pakistan
The third all Afghanistan National Taekwon-do Association Championships also due to political problems in Afghanistan as the two another AANTA championships was organized in Karachi-Pakistan at Aga khan gymkhana with very high level standards.

4th Senior and 1st Junior All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
30th -31st December 2004, khairkhana Kabul-Afghanistan
It was the 1st step in the national events of the Taekwon-do ITF in Afghanistan, Asia Taekwon-do club and the H.Q of AANTA khairkhana at that time, was selected to receive representatives of AANTA ITF, Afghanistan National TKD Association Kabul was the number one with 75 points, the second place was for Herat, with participating more then one hundred participants.
Competition in the national mean the ITF development of this activity from different provinces manifests the passion for the ITF.


 

5th Senior and 2nd junior All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
30th -31st December 2005, Kabul Medical University Kabul-Afghanistan
Kabul, Medical University was chosen to be the glorious place to host this event, more then 200 competitors from AANTA representations participated in the cold December 2005, AANTA Kabul took 1st Position, Herat 2nd and afghan youth Taekwon-do Association 3rd place.

6th All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
30th -31st December 2006, 4th street proja Taimani Kabul- Afghanistan

It took place in 4th street of proja Taimani near malika suraya Girls high school TKD Do-jang on December 30th the absence of many AANTA ITF representations made this championship not as good as it could have been, because of cold weather.
Only Kabul and Mazar-e-sharif participated in this event with 70th competitors.

7th Senior and 3rd junior All Afghanistan National Taekwon-do ITF Championships
2-4 May 2007 National Olympic Committee Gymnasium

The tournament was held 2nd- 4th May 2007 in Kabul- Afghanistan
120 Competitors from 3 provinces Kabul, Herat and Mazar-e-sharif took part.
Also competing were the afghan refugee team from Pakistan. The venue, the afghan Olympic Gymnasium, was packed with excited spectators throughout the 3 days event.
Before the championships the Afghanistan ITF Taekwon-do Seminar was held. Conducted by Mr. Mohammad Maroof Sharifzada chairman Umpire Committee AANTA held in the “Kabul Thems” hotel, it was successful and memorable seminar for the 82 Taekwon-do practitioners who attended.

8th senior and 4th Junior & children concluded Successfully
On the 19th December 2008 the All Afghanistan National Taekwon-Do Association ITF successfully hosted the 8th senior and 4th junior and children national championships which was held at Hafaq sports center there were more then 400 participants, officially from kabul herat, Mazar e Sharif, Paktia for the 8th senior and 4th junior Championships. for the champions and officials distributed medals, cups Awards and certificates either by founder and president A.A.N.T.A Mr. Hed Mohammad Shirzai and further, Organizing committee to closing of ceremony a banquet was at the kabul khaiber hotel where the 16th All Afghanistan National ITF TKD Anniversary also was celebrated by cutting the cake all players from kabul and other provinces have participated for 24 gold medals and 24 silver and 31 bronze. Afghanistan Academy of ITF Taekwon-do players with 8 gold medals 1st position, Afghan youth ITF Association with 5 Gold medals 2nd Position, Asia ITF Team and Mazaar e Sharif Team with 3 gold medals 3rd Position the best fighters Mr. Waheed in Senior Mr. Noor Mohammad Shirzai in Junior and Mr. Murad Ali in children Segments were declard of the championships
